This site does not give legal advice. You write from your own answers.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by JobFinalCheck, a FillFold solution (“we”, “us”). Contact: contact@jobfinalcheck.com. By using the site you accept these terms. If you buy a letter, you accept them when you pay.

2. What JobFinalCheck is

JobFinalCheck is a self-help tool for employees at the end of a job in France, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom (England, Wales and Scotland) and Ireland. It offers free guides, free calculators and checks, and an automated tool that turns your answers to a questionnaire into a letter or a filled-in form.

  • This site does not give legal advice; you write from your own answers. Our guides, calculators and templates are general information based on the law and official guidance of each country. They do not tell you what applies to your situation. Using the site does not create any advisory relationship.
  • You prepare your letter. You choose what to claim, you supply the facts, dates and amounts, and you review your answers, and can change any of them, before you download. The tool assembles the letter automatically from your answers; nobody at JobFinalCheck drafts, reviews or edits it for you.
  • You act for yourself. You decide whether, when and how to send your letter, and you remain responsible for your matter. We do not contact your employer and do not represent you before any body or court. A trade union or an advice service in your country can help you if your situation is disputed or unusual.

JobFinalCheck is independent. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any government department or public body, such as an employment service, a labour inspectorate, a conciliation service or a tribunal.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • giving complete and accurate answers: a letter or a calculation is only as accurate as the facts, dates and amounts you enter;
  • reading your letter in full before you send it, and changing anything that does not fit your situation;
  • sending your letter correctly and on time, and keeping proof that you sent it;
  • meeting every deadline that applies to you. The dates our tools calculate are a guide: we use the shortest reading of a time limit and suggest a date to send with a margin, but where it matters, check them against the official sources we cite.

4. Accuracy of our content

We build every calculator, template and guide from the law as published and review them regularly; each guide shows the date its rules were last checked. The law and its interpretation can change, collective agreements and contracts can give more, and the outcome of any dispute depends on facts we do not know. We therefore cannot guarantee that a calculation or a letter will achieve a particular result.

5. Free guides and calculators

You may read, print and share links to our guides, and use the calculators, checks and free letters as often as you like. They run in your browser: what you type into them is not sent to us. Please do not republish our guides in full without asking.

6. Paid letters

  • Prices. A paid letter costs €9 (£9 in the United Kingdom). Where offered, the version with follow-up costs €19 (£19): it adds email reminders before each date and, depending on the letter, a dated follow-up letter and a sheet explaining the next step. Prices include any VAT due and are shown before you pay.
  • Free stays free. Letters and guided sheets offered for free are never part of a paid offer.
  • Payment. You pay by card through a secure payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
  • Delivery. Your letter is supplied as a PDF immediately after payment, with a clean copy ready to sign that does not show the name of this site.
  • Access. For 12 months after payment you can prepare and download the letter you bought again, for example with corrected answers, on any device, using your purchase code. To prevent abuse, each purchase allows a limited number of downloads a day. A purchase is for your own use; please do not share your purchase code.
  • Reminders. Reminders are a convenience: you remain responsible for your deadlines, even if a reminder does not reach you.
  • Receipt. We send you a receipt by email confirming what you bought, the price, your purchase code and your consent described in section 7.

7. Your right to cancel

As a consumer buying online, you normally have 14 days to cancel. Our letters are digital content supplied straight away. Before you pay, we ask you to request immediate supply and to acknowledge that, once your letter is supplied, you lose your right to cancel. We confirm this in your receipt.

This does not affect your other rights. If a letter cannot be generated or downloaded because of a fault on our side, or does not match what we described, tell us at contact@jobfinalcheck.com and we will fix it or refund you.

8. Our liability

We take reasonable care in preparing our tools and content. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for losses that arise from inaccurate information you entered, from a letter you did not review, from the way or the time it was sent, or from a deadline you did not meet. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Your data

See our privacy notice for what we collect, why, and where it is kept.

10. Changes and complaints

We may update these terms; the version that applies to a purchase is the one in force when you buy. Nothing in these terms deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. If you are unhappy with our service, write to contact@jobfinalcheck.com first: we reply to every complaint.
